Peace deal or kiss of death?

The UN Security Council on Monday adopted a US-Israel resolution apparently aimed at reaching a ceasefire deal in Gaza. “Today, we voted for peace,” the US Ambassador to the UN claimed afterwards. But the “deal” she presented made no attempt to address the causes of the war. We were treated to the ludricrous spectacle of the US’s Linda Thomas-Greenfield laying out a three-stage ceasefire plan while America’s precious little ‘protectorate’, Isreal, not only continued the slaughter of Palestinian civilians in Gaza but actually stepped up the genocidal horror while the US administration kept the aggressor topped up with weaponry and […] #Featured #IsraelWaronPalestine #WarZone
