In my last 2023 piece, now a month old, I argued that the ongoing political crisis in the United States, coupled with the upcoming presidential election could lead to its collapse. Although this idea seemed farfetched and even absurd to some of my readers, recent events surrounding the rapidly escalating crisis on America’s southern border make even this assessment rather optimistic.
