India strongly dismisses ‘baseless’ remarks on Kashmir by Pakistan in UNSC

India has strongly dismissed and condemned the “baseless” remarks on Kashmir made by a Pakistani diplomat during a UN Security Council debate on children and armed conflict, calling it another habitual attempt to divert attention from the “grave violations” against children that continue unabated in Pakistan. “Let me respond briefly in the interest of time to remarks, which were obviously politically motivated and unfounded, made by one representative against my country. I categorically dismiss and condemn these baseless remarks with the contempt they deserve,” Ambassador R. Ravindra, Chargé d’Affaires and Deputy Permanent Representative of India to the UN, said Wednesday. Indian interference claims by Canada politically motivated, says envoy

India has said a report by Canadian legislators alleging interference by New Delhi is politically motivated and influenced by Sikh separatist campaigners. Already chilly bilateral ties cooled further last month when a group of parliamentarians, citing intelligence reports, alleged some elected Canadian officials had been “witting or semi-witting” participants in foreign interference operations. India and China were the main foreign threats to Canada’s democratic institutions, it said. Sanjay Kumar Verma, India’s envoy to Canada, said the report was biased, did not give a fair hearing to India and did not give an opportunity to cross-examine witnesses. “It has been influenced […] #Asia Read Full Article: https://www.vtforeignpolicy.com/2024/07/indian-interference-claims-by-canada/?feed_id=13035

A web of notorious elements comprising journalists, writers, think-tanks, NGOs, newspapers and media outlets are running cruel propaganda against India with the agenda of destabilizing the country by spreading seeds of hatred within people. Western conspiracy to break India continues for decades

In a recent article, Indian newspaper Swarajya stated – Bangladesh Pm was right; sinister plans are afoot to create a Christian state of ‘Zo’ people in South Asia’. Immediately following statement of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina hinting, a “white nation” is conspiring to create a “Christian state” was elaborated by me through a number of articles published in Blitz, The Eurasian Times,  Indian Defence Review   and few more newspapers in the world, where I wrote: Several Western nations, including the United States and Britain are conspiring to create a Cristian state taking parts of Bangladesh, India and Myanmar. Washington and Brussels spent millions to interfere in India’s 2024 Lok Sabha Elections

A new report has exposed Western efforts to interfere in India’s 2024 Lok Sabha Elections (19 April to 1 June), with particular focus put on the Henry Luce Foundation, George Soros’ Open Society Foundation, and the French Indologist and political scientist Christophe Jaffrelot for their roles in peddling a “particular narrative.” In a report titled ‘The Invisible Hands: Foreign Interference in Indian Elections 2024,’ DisInfo Lab  found that the Indian elections experienced massive interference from China and Israel but that “the most significant remains obscure – The Western interference: From EU to the US.” “Unfortunately, as millions of Indians were deciding their future, […] #Asia Read Full Article: https://www.vtforeignpolicy.com/2024/06/washington-and-brussels-spent-millions-to-interfere-in-indias-2024-lok-sabha-elections/?feed_id=12359

Western media continues to attacks India, Narendra Modi and democracy

India, the largest and oldest democracy in the world is insane and cruel hostility and vile propaganda run by a section of the Western media. Unfortunately, key-target of those Western media are Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In April, prior to ongoing Lok Sabha elections, Britain’s leading newspaper The Guardian published an editorial titled ‘Fixing a win by outlawing dissent damages democracy’, where it said, “The world’s largest elections begin this weekend in India, amid claims that the race to lead the country has already been won. India boosts anti-submarine warfare, successfully tests 'Supersonic Missile-Assisted Release of Torpedo' system

When China recently launched the first of eight Hangor II submarines for Pakistan at the Wuchang Shipbuilding yard in Wuhan, India moved another step forward to enhance its Navy’s anti-submarine warfare capability by conducting a successful test of the Supersonic Missile-Assisted Release of Torpedo (SMART) system. The Supersonic Missile-Assisted Release of Torpedo (SMART) system, designed and developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) in India, is a next-generation missile-based lightweight torpedo delivery mechanism. Al Qaeda connected Bangladesh Nationalist Party joins international conspiracy against India

In the aftermath of Sheikh Hasina’s re-election as Prime Minister for a fourth consecutive term, the political landscape of the nation has seen the sudden appearance of the “India Out” campaign, spearheaded by Al Qaeda connected ultra-Islamist Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), while the party has been also spreading this campaign in a number of Western nations through its leaders, activists and lobbyists, where BNP men are calling for an international boycott of India and Indian products. In Bangladesh, this movement, reminiscent of similar endeavors in the Maldives, seeks to leverage anti-India and anti-Hindu sentiments to challenge the legitimacy of the […] #Asia Read Full Article: https://www.vtforeignpolicy.com/2024/04/al-qaeda-connected-bangladesh-nationalist-party-joins-international-conspiracy-against-india/?feed_id=11547

Aliyev says Azerbaijan “cannot sit idly by” while Armenia is armed by France, India and Greece

In a new threat of war, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that his country “cannot sit idly by” as France, India, and Greece supply weapons to Armenia. However, his justification for issuing a new threat of war is hypocritical since Azerbaijan has invested much more in its military compared to Armenia after turning to Turkey, Pakistan and Israel for weapons. The South Caucasus is clearly becoming a flashpoint for these competing blocs. “We cannot sit idly by while France, India, and Greece arm Armenia against us. They are doing this openly and demonstratively, obviously trying to prove something to us […] #Military #WarZone Read Full Article: https://www.vtforeignpolicy.com/2024/04/aliyev-says-azerbaijan-cannot-sit/?feed_id=11515

BJP party slams Western media for being “out of touch” with India and publishing “propaganda”

Binay Kumar Singh, co-author of the book ‘BBC’s True Lies’ and a spokesman of India’s ruling BJP Party, accused Western media of not only being “out of touch” with realities in India but even “in their own countries too.” The comments by Singh were triggered by an attack on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi by the London-based magazine The Economist ahead of the Lok Sabha (the lower house of India’s bicameral Parliament) elections later this month. The Economist article, published on March 29, claimed that Modi defied the tendency of “elites” and “upper-middle class” to oppose “populist” leaders by maintaining immense […] #Life Read Full Article: https://www.vtforeignpolicy.com/2024/04/bjp-party-slams-western-media-for-being-out-of-touch-with-india-and-publishing-propaganda/?feed_id=11035

China provides Pakistan with its first spy ship in show of bolstered strategic alliance

The Pakistan Navy inducted its first research vessel, or spy ship, in an attempt to counter the strengthening of the Indian Navy in the Indian Ocean. This is a demonstration of deepening Pakistani-Chinese relations, which have been important for Beijing’s interests and power projections since the 1950s. INS Dhruv was inducted by the Indian Navy in 2021 and can track nuclear missiles and gather intelligence, which is crucial in modern-day naval warfare. Responding to India’s development, China supplied PNS Rizwan and allowed Pakistan to join a small group of countries that operate such ships, including Russia, India, France, the US, […] #Life Read Full Article: https://www.vtforeignpolicy.com/2024/03/china-provides-pakistan-with-its-first-spy-ship-in-show-of-bolstered-strategic-alliance/?feed_id=10219
