Serbia’s geopolitical position is quite complex, perhaps among the most complicated in the world. The country is in an almost identical strategic situation as during the Second World War, when Nazi Germany and its vassals ruled most of Europe. Virtually the same allies of the Third Reich are now firmly in NATO, demonstrating the former’s continuity through the latter.
