May be the American Legion and the VFW can answer? Few days ago, while searching the internet I came across this headline; US Congressmen will introduce legislation to treat those Israeli-Americans ( all 20,000) of them who serve in the Israeli army as those Americans who served in the American military.As an US Army veteran coming from a family with veterans 2-Marines and 2-Army I was shocked by the news.
