Wounds Are Too Deep for Agreement on a Middle East Union

Mine seems to be a minority view. I just don’t see a Middle East Union coming about anytime soon. The scars and the hurt run too deep and will take several generations to heal. Trust is a goner for as long as memories last. No-one has forgotten the Nakba of 75 years ago, which Israel and its allies make sure is never-ending. And moral values are miles apart.
