Ahli: Large numbers of people sheltering there because it is a Christian hospital

The appalling loss of civilian life at the bombed Ahli Hospital has provoked worldwide outrage accompanied by Israel and Islamic Jihad trading accusations of blame. Somebody who knows the hospital well is Ang Swee Chai, the orthopedic surgeon and author. She became the first female consultant orthopaedic surgeon at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London and is co-founder of the charity Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).
